
At the first date of Paul McCartney‘s One on One Tour in Fresno, California, the former Beatles superstar surprised Fab Four fans by opening the concert with his first performance of “A Hard Day’s Night” in 51 years.

This is the first time McCartney has performed the song as a solo act, Rolling Stone reports. McCartney last played the song with the Beatles at the Cow Palace in Daly City, California, on August 31, 1965.

In addition to “A Hard Day’s Night”, McCartney also played such Beatles hits as “Love Me Do” for the first time in his solo career and “The Fool on the Hill”, which he hasn’t played since 2003.
