Panic! at the Disco took to Twitter on Saturday (Sept. 22) to announce the departure of their touring guitarist, Kevin Harris. Allegations of sexual misconduct against Harris surfaced online last Thursday (Sept. 20), though as of press time, Billboard is unable to confirm if the action is related.
An individual made a thread on Twitter to call out Harris on a personal experience that she allegedly had with him when she was 16. Once the thread began circulating, others reached out to the original Twitter user about their alleged experiences with Harris, leading her to share screenshots and personal stories of him interacting with and requesting pictures from fans.
Though Panic! at the Disco has removed Harris from the band, they have yet to directly address the allegations, referring to his removal as “a personal matter.” Billboard has reached out for comment.
