A24 will be bringing British rock band Oasis to the big screen, for one night only. The production company has acquired the the documentary Oasis: Supersonic and will be releasing it into theaters on Oct. 26 in the U.S.
The feature charts the meteoric rise and slow fall of Oasis, including the infighting between band mates and brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. Supersonic comes from the filmmakers behind the Oscar-winning Amy Winehouse documentary Amy, which was also distributed by A24.
Mat Whitecross, who helmed the punk doc Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, directed the doc, with Fiona Neilson, Simon Halfon, James Gay Rees and Asif Kapdia acting as producers.
Tickets for the one-night-only screenings are already on sale.
