After dropping their surprise single “Thought Contagion” back in February and “Dig Down” earlier this month, Muse took to Instagram last month to announce that a new record is indeed on the way.
Now, the band appears to be back in the studio. “Dom goes tribal,” Matt Bellamy wrote on Instagram Monday (May 21), sharing a video of drummer Dom Howard.
“So our plan for 2018 is to make a bunch of new songs, and probably a new album as well,” Bellamy previously told fans. “We’ll put out a couple of singles and we’ll do like five or six shows – some big festivals in the U.S. that we’ve never done before.” The list of festivals includes Bonnaroo, BottleRock, and Carolina Rebellion.
