Mumford & Sons are still hard at work promoting their May 2015 album, Wilder Mind. Today (Nov. 9) the band announced a bundle of United States tour dates for April 2016.
It’s called the An Arrow Through the Heartland Tour, and true to its name, it focuses on the American South and Midwest. The tour starts April 3 in Houston and wraps April 23 in Indianapolis. Mumford also has one more North American date scheduled for the following months — June 15 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Singer-songwriter Blake Mills will open all the April shows.
Mumford & Sons are currently touring Australia. They have a slew of worldwide shows — including Lollapalooza Brazil, Argentina, and Chile — scheduled between now and the 2016 U.S. romp.

Touring the United States of America in many ways fulfills the childhood dream of what touring might be like. Rolling from one great city to the next, each with its own personality and uniqueness whilst remaining familiar enough at the same time. Waking up every morning with a conversation amongst us about who wants to visit “that” bookshop or “the” ultimate music shop or whatever the various cities had to offer.
