As August draws to a close, another round of bands and artists are slated for a week of Billboard Live At-Home sessions.
On Tuesday (Aug. 25), The Avett Brothers will perform a virtual set for the nonprofit of their choice, just days ahead of the release of their new EP, The Third Gleam, which is set to arrive Friday (Aug. 28) via Loma Vista Recordings. The veteran folk rockers will be followed by singer-songwriter Carlie Hanson on Wednesday (Aug. 26) and rising R&B singer Pink Sweat$ on Thursday (Aug. 27).
Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, acts from the world over have partnered with Billboard to deliver live music to fans from the safety of their homes, all while raising much-needed funds for charities including Direct Relief, Feeding America, Meals on Wheels, Downtown Women’s Center and more. Each thirty minute session is streamed live via Billboard’s Facebook page.
