On the heels of their monstrous 22-night U.K. headlining tour (their second to date), Newcastle-based rockers Lisbon return with their latest single, the punch-drunk anthem “Vice,” premiering exclusively via Billboard.
Officially out on Feb. 26 via Killing Moon Records, the track is their first offering since their debut EP Life Is Good first made waves last year. Produced by Dan Austin (Doves, Pixies, The Enemy), the tune marks a sonic evolution for the gents, adding in a more mature percussion style to support their typically unshakeable melodies and groove.
“‘Vice’ is a song about escape,” frontman Matthew Varty tells Billboard. “It explores how we use vices as a remedy for our woes, and how such a decision often acts as a recipe for an incredibly enjoyable, yet incredibly chaotic disaster.”
Jumpstart your weekend right with a spin of this catchy, captivating track, and keep an eye out for more from these Brit rockers to hit later this year.
