CDs might not fly off the shelves like they used to, but that doesn’t mean an up-and-coming pop-rock band can’t get shrink-wrapped like one.
Arkansas quartet Knox Hamilton just shared the video for its new single “Washed Up Together,” and the new clip features the band and some friends getting vacuum sealed in plastic, because why not?
“We loved working on this music video with [director] Titanic Sinclair,” the band tells Billboard. “He was very creative and very interactive. The whole process of being vacuum sealed felt like getting a giant hug from Hulk Hogan. This is the ultimate bear hug from us to you and we think Michael Jackson would be proud.”
Katy Perry is proud, too!

“Washed Up Together” — the song — was produced by former Sugarcult frontman Tim Pagnotta, who’s worked on tracks for bands like Neon Trees and Walk the Moon in recent years. For now, it’s a standalone single on Prospect Park Records, following up the four-song How’s Your Mind EP, released earlier this year.
