Since 2007, Record Store Day has helped celebrate independent record stores and the consumers who so passionately support them. More recently, RSD has gotten into the Black Friday business as well by offering exclusive releases.
Today (Oct. 25), Legacy Recordings revealed a handful of exclusives they will offer come Nov. 25, including rarities from Run-D.M.C., Alice in Chains, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and more.
Run-D.M.C will release the hip-hop holiday classic Christmas in Hollis complete with “Peter Piper,” the lead track of Raising Hell. The release will be pressed on a 12″ vinyl two-sided color picture disc, which will feature a Christmas-themed portrait of the group on Side A and their logo on Side B.
As for Alice in Chains, the release of Live Facelift, which was previously unavailable on vinyl, will serve as a holiday treat from the grunge icons. The vinyl includes live recordings from the band’s 1990 show at The Moore Theatre in Seattle.

The compilation first arrived in 2000, and features session recordings of “Jungle,” and “Room Full of Mirrors,” to name a few.
