Jared Leto, actor and frontman of Thirty Seconds to Mars, came on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to join the host for the “Name That Song Challenge” with The Roots. The band would start playing popular songs one instrument at a time, building to the full arrangement while Leto and Fallon would race to guess what song was being played.
Fallon guessed the first two tracks, “Don’t You Want Me” by The Human League and “It’s Not Unusual” by Tom Jones. Leto catches on for a bit, though, guessing the next numbers before Fallon, who he refers to as a “musical genius.” Of course, Fallon is a pro at his own games and wins it all in the end.
During his post-game interview, Leto talks about making more music with Thirty Seconds to Mars and his many performance antics. Leto recalls running off stage when he noticed a zip line in the middle of a concert in Brazil, a feat which he repeated for his stage entrance during his most recent return to the venue.
