Fans who showed up to Jack White‘s gig at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom on Monday night (Nov. 19) were greeted by a most unusual concert poster. Instead of the usual abstract, sepia-toned image of skeletons, hot rods or a serious-looking White, they instead got an image based on the so-wrong-its-wrong Cards Against Humanity game.
The poster cued up the provocative phrase, “When Jack White performed at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on Nov. 19, 2018, he surprised fans with…” The answers were, as expected, weird. They included: “A quiet, poignant acoustic guitar ballad,” “Jack White’s collection of taxidermied animal heads” and “Jack White’s testosterone-fueled dementia,” among others.
The poster, printed by Matthew Jacobson’s Magic Paper is available for $100 and includes an 18×24 inch double-sided poster, as well as six Jack White-themed regulation-sized CAH cards.
