Nothing strange to see here, folks. Last month a video went viral showing Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo rocking out with his band, Work in Progress, to Fall Out Boy’s classic “Sugar We’re Going Down” and Paramore’s smash hit “Misery Business” before a crowd in Asbury Park, NJ, and one special viewer was sure to take notice — Paramore’s Hayley Williams.
After seeing the video, Williams took to Twitter to tell Matarazzo — who plays Dustin on the Netflix smash Stranger Things — that she had watched the clip, before inviting him to “crash a pmore stage and thrash those luscious locks around (& harmonize, obv) whenever the spirit (of rock) leads you.”
dear @GatenM123, @itstayloryall & i saw your band’s Miz Biz cover and all i can say is: —-. open invite to crash a pmore stage and thrash those luscious locks around (& harmonize, obv) whenever the spirit (of rock) leads you.

Matarazzo was ecstatic to be noticed by Williams and replied back, “Dude!! Yesss!!!! Let’s make this happen!” before Williams shared she would be sending him their 2018 tour schedule for him to pick a date.
Dude!! Yesss!!!! Let’s make this happen! Thanks ??—-
