Goo Goo Dolls have announced a new live album titles The Audience is This Way, to be released July 21 on Warner Bros. Records. It contains 10 never-before-heard live reworkings of tracks from throughout their discography, from the mid-’90s to 2016’s Boxes.
The live album was recorded by John Schimke, and was produced and mixed by John Rzeznik, Chris Szczech and Brad Fernquist. It will be available on limited-edition black vinyl at indie record stores as part of Record Store Day Crawl.
The news comes ahead of Goo Goo Dolls’ upcoming Dizzy Up The Girl 20th Anniversary Tour, in which the band will perform that signature album in full.
