If you weren’t ready for the weekend yet, Billboard has an exclusive that will turn your weekday angst into weekend dance moves.
The boys of Ghost Town are premiering their latest single from the upcoming album Evolution exclusively on Billboard. The track, titled “Loner,” was described by the band as “the loner anthem for our generation. People shouldn’t depend on the vices of others or their approval to be who they are and to do what they need to do.”
The Fueled by Ramen band has made a reputation on making inspirational music. Their upcoming third album was produced by Josh Abraham (30 Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park?, Weezer) and his colleagues Nico Stadi, Oligee and Ryan Williams and sees the band reach for just as emotional but broader content.
“Loner” has an ’80s-inspired sound with an electronic base that allows for the ultimate dancing session. It’s the kind of song that’s unsafe to road-trip to in case your fist-bumps cause a car crash. Check out the song below:
Evolution will be available Nov. 6, and Ghost Town will begin touring Nov. 1 in San Francisco and continue through to December.
