Two weeks after the tragic death of singer Scott Hutchison, Scottish rockers Frightened Rabbit announced on Thursday that they were canceling an appearance at the First Incident Festival in Glasgow. The June 1 show at Galvanizers Yard would have been their first show since Hutchison, 36, went missing on May 9 and was found dead two days later.
“Some people have said that they’d like to donate their ticket cost to charity,” the band wrote in a tweet announcing the cancellation, suggesting that if others wanted to they could earmark the donations for the Scottish Association for Mental Health in Hutchison’s memory.
We’ve made the decision to cancel The First Incident on June 1st. Some people have said that they’d like to donate their ticket cost to charity. If this is something you’d like to do we would ask that you donate to @SAMHtweets in Scott’s memory: https://t.co/ocOWiXhoEi

The band’s website currently lists no shows for the rest of 2018, and the remaining members have not announced what their plans are going forward.
