The Foo Fighters unleashed the latest edition of their Foo Files EP releases on Friday (Sept. 27) with the surprise drop of the five-song 01070725 EP.
The mini-album features a live cover of the punk classic “Holiday in Cambodia” by the Dead Kennedys from the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, as well as a cover of Arcade Fire‘s “Keep the Car Running” from a Live at the BBC Radio 1 Six Weeks of Summer festival that same year.
Additionally, it collects the “The Pretender” b-side “If Ever” and a bonus track from the Japanese edition of the Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace album “Seda” and a demo of “Come Alive.”
The Foo Files series — a celebration of next year’s 25th anniversary of the band’s debut album — has already included the 00050525 Live in Rosewell EP chronicling a 2005 show at Walker Air Force Base in Roswelll, New Mexico, 00070725 Live at Studio 606, recorded in Sept. 2007 in Northridge, California, 00111125 Live In London and the three-song 00950025.
