Five Finger Death Punch were forced to postpone the last three dates of their U.S. tour due to guitarist Jason Hook’s emergency gallbladder surgery, but in their new video for “Inside Out” they appear road ready. The visual for the song from the band’s upcoming F8 album (Feb. 28) combines footage of the group rocking in an empty arena mixed with clips from past performances.
“I stand alone/ Guess I knew it all along/ Yes I knew that you were wrong/ How you left when I was down/ I want you to say/ It was never really me/ You just turned and walked away/ How you turned me inside out/ Inside out,” singer Ivan Moody bellows over the song’s ricocheting drums and grinding guitars.
The postponed shows included a gig on Saturday at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, as well as one Sunday night (Dec. 15) in Des Moines, Iowa. After those two shows, FFDP had planned to take the rest of the year off and then hit the road again on Jan. 14 with a show in Kyiv, Ukraine. They recently announced dates for a spring North American arena tour with Ice Nine Kills, Papa Roach and I Prevail that is slated to kick off on Apr. 8 in Sunrise, Florida and run through a May 20 gig in St. Paul, Minnesota.
