Rock band Five Finger Death Punch canceled its concert in Milan, Italy, on Sunday (Nov. 22) after reports surfaced that the city could be the next target of an ISIS attack.

“We did our best in a very short amount of time to work with the local promoter and authorities to ensure that security would be adequate,” FFDP wrote on Facebook. “Unfortunately, we did not receive confirmation in time to satisfy our requirements and to ensure that our fans would be safe at the event.”
A subgroup of Anonymous claimed that it had uncovered numerous ISIS terror attacks planned for Nov. 22, including one at FFDP’s Milan show, the International Business Times reports (via Blabbermouth). Anonymous later tweeted that it did not know where the rumors had come from.
Paris Attacks: A Tribute to the Music Industry’s Victims
On Nov. 13, ISIS attacked Paris’ Le Bataclan during an Eagles of Death Metal concert, leaving 89 attendees dead. The rock band survived the shooting, but victims included the group’s merchandise manager, Nick Alexander, as well as three record label associates, Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser and Manu Perez.
