It’s been one month since Eddie Van Halen died at age 65 following a battle with cancer, and his son Wolfgang is missing his father and their close relationship.
“1 month. Not a second goes by where you’re not on my mind,” he wrote on Friday (Nov. 6) alongside a sweet black-and-white selfie of the duo smiling. “I miss talking with you. I miss laughing with you. I miss listening to music with you. I miss making music with you. I just miss everything.”
“I love you so much, Pop,” he concluded the heartbreaking post. “It’s really hard being here without you.”

The late icon was diagnosed with tongue cancer in 2000, though he was declared cancer-free two years later. In the months leading up to his death, however, Van Halen was reportedly battling throat cancer and flying to Germany for treatments.
