A new David Bowie live album Brilliant Live Adventures Part 2: No Trendy Réchauffé (Live Birmingham 95) is slated for release on Nov. 20. The set, recorded at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Center on Dec. 13, 1995, is the second release in the Brilliant Live Adventures series, which is slated to feature six live albums in limited runs based on shows performed by the late rock icon in the 1990s.
The No Trendy Réchauffé album chronicles the final show of the Outside tour as well as what was the first night of the five-night “Big Twix Mix Show” festival, with a set list featuring rare live performances of “Jump They Say,” “Strangers When We Meet” and two previously unreleased versions of “Hallo Spaceboy”; the second version was filmed for a never-completed video for the song that was intended as the next single from the album that reunited Bowie with his “Berlin Trilogy” collaborator Brian Eno.
The CD and vinyl versions will come in special limited edition box configurations; a third Brilliant Live album is due out before the end of the year, with the other three due out in early 2021.
