While in Perth, Australia on Saturday night (Jan. 20), the Foo Fighters professionally and hilariously handled a fan who ran onstage during their set.
The band was in the middle of playing their classic hit “Everlong” when a young fan bypassed security and ran up the catwalk to the front of the stage, where he then hugged Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl as two members of the backstage security rushed to the scene.
Grohl asked the man his name, to which he responded “Jevon with a J,” before the rocker politely, but firmly told the intruding superfan to “get the f— off my stage.” The crowd erupted with applause as Grohl sent the man on his way before dedicating the rest of the song in his honor.
