Black Keys guitarist Dan Auerbach stepped aside from his main band this year to put out an album from his side project, the Arcs.
Dan and the band appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to promote the new album, Yours, Dreamily. Auerbach got his sketch skills on and riffed on the tradition of blind blues musicians. “When I first started playing guitar, I listened to all the great bluesmen: Blind Willie Johnson, Blind Blake, Blind Lemon Jefferson, but my all-time favorite is still Blind Freddy Blindman.”
