Shocked reactions to the death of Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington continue to roll in, with friends, fans and fellow musicians paying tribute to the spirited frontman who died on Thursday (July 20) at age 41 of an apparent suicide.
One of the most touching came from his hometown baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers, who turned Thursday’s game into an homage to Bennington’s indelible music. Before the Dodgers took on the Atlanta Braves, Dodger Stadium organist Dieter Ruehle performed a stirring rendition of the band’s signature 2003 hit “Numb” at the request of a fan on Twitter.

Dodgers pitcher Brandon McCarthy showed his love for Bennington by playing a LP song as his walk-up music.
