Blink-182 have unveiled another new song, titled “Happy Days,” from their forthcoming album today (July 1).
The latest from the group (Matt Skiba, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker) features energetic instrumentation and an undeniably anthemic hook. “I wanna feel happy days, happy days/ Happy days, happy days/ Walls of isolation inside of my pain/ And I don’t know if I’m ready to change,” the guys yearn on the chorus.
“Happy Days” follows the California band’s previously-released singles, the 50-second-long “Generational Divide” and the upbeat “Blame It On My Youth.”
The band also just kicked off their nationwide tour with co-headliner Lil Wayne. Their upcoming album is set to be released later this year via Columbia Records.
