
London-born singer Bishop Briggs made her TV debut Monday night performing “River” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Bishop Briggs’ ‘River’ Rises on the Rock Charts
The single is the alternative rocker’s first to reach a Billboard chart, hitting No. 15 on Hot Rock Songs and No. 9 on Billboard Twitter Emerging Artists (so far).
The singer tweeted her excitement following the performance, writing, “What a moment. Full of gratitude.”

Briggs, formerly known as just Bishop, performed one of three singles the artist has put out to date, which also include “Wild Horses” and recent single “The Way I Do.” The singer is expected to open for Coldplay on their tour this fall.
