The Beatles‘ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band turns 50 next month and minor league baseball team the Toledo Mud Hens is celebrating with detailed theme jerseys.
The Toledo, Ohio, team shared a look at the jerseys on Tuesday (May 2) and they’re a complex mix of incredible and tacky at the same time, appropriating the Fab Four’s military-style uniforms from the seminal album cover.
The Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers will wear the jerseys on June 16 when it faces off against the Gwinnett Braves at Fifth Third Field in Toledo.
