Earlier this year, we learned that Laura Jane Grace will release her autobiography in November, and as it turns out, it won’t be the only document of the Against Me! frontwoman’s life we’ll get this fall.
On Monday (July 18), the punk band announced its seventh studio album — titled Shape Shift With Me — is due Sept. 16 via its own imprint, Total Treble. But that’s not all: The first new song is here, and you can listen to it below. Here’s “333”:
After a handful of festival dates, Against Me! will hit the road starting Sept. 14 in Grand Rapids, Mich., to support the new record. The trek will take them around North America through early November, and then to Europe to close out the year. Find those dates at Against Me!’s official site.

Shape Shift With Me follows the critically acclaimed 2014 album Transgender Dysphoria Blues, Against Me!’s first release after Laura Jane Grace came out as transgender in 2012. But expect a whole lot more than that covered in the new book. Upon its announcement, Grace tweeted, “I just want to make it 100% clear that my book is in no way what-so-ever about self glorification or hero-worship… Any trans person who has written a book in effort to elevate themselves onto a pedestal, well I want my book to be the anti-that.”
