Young Thug took to social media on Tuesday (April 9) to hint that a second remix of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” is officially on the way.
In a short video posted from the studio, the rapper previewed his high-energy guest verse after the song’s country-trap chorus, cheekily captioning the clip with a pair of shushing and grinning emojis.
A few hours later, Lil Nas X posted a picture with the rapper on his Instagram, writing, “WITH THE MF GOAT!”
Another “Old Town Road” remix, featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, was released last week.
The viral song flew to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week following its initial popularity on the lip-syncing app TikTok and subsequent attention centered on its removal after a week on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart.
