From rivals to best friends? That seems to be the case with Young Thug and Future.
Though they initially had issues several years back stemming from their long-winded “Internet arguments,” the Atlanta tandem squashed their beef and joined forces in 2017 to release their collaborative project, Super Slimey.
Now, Thugger explained how his friendship with Future goes beyond the music in a recent interview with Spotify. Prior to his revelation, Thugger took a deep dive into his Instagram and pulled up a photo of the pair riding bicycles together: “Man, me and this n—a got each other’s names tatted on us,” he said. “That’s how we feel. It’s forever.”
Thugger also touched on how and Gambino connected for “This Is America” and being able to participate in his final upcoming album. “[Childish Gambino] got in touch with Reese LaFlare,” he said. “I think they cool, friends or whatever. He told him to come to the [studio]. He said he has a song for me for his last album. I tweeted one time, I was like, ‘I bet I be on Gambino’s last album.’ I’m on his last album, it’s crazy. He’s really not making music after this.”
