With Yo Gotti turning 38 in May, the CMG frontman has yet another special celebration planned for his hometown.
On Monday (March 25), Gotti announced the 7th Annual Yo Gotti & Friends Birthday Bash. The party is set for June 28, but the venue choice has leveled up to the 18,000-plus capacity FedEx Forum.
“My Birthday Bash is going to be a movie this year,” Gotti tells Billboard. “I can’t wait until y’all see all the special guests that we have lined up, I promise you that we’re gonna shut the FedEx Forum down again. It’ll be an unforgettable night for me and the city of Memphis. I’m excited to celebrate this big night with all of my fans.”
Tickets for the event go on sale starting on Wednesday (March 27), but will open up to the rest of the public on Friday (March 29) over at Ticketmaster. The “Put A Date On It” rapper has teamed up with TIDAL to offer an exclusive bundle deal with purchases for $3.50 extra, where customers will be entitled to a six-month subscription to the streaming service and a download to Gotti’s forthcoming studio LP upon its release.
Since the first official Birthday Bash dating back in 2012, Yo Gotti has brought out a decorated cast of guests over the years to join him in celebrating on stage, which includes the likes of Meek Mill, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, T.I., Moneybagg Yo, Jeezy, and YG.
