YG and DJ Mustard have ended the public argument that began less than a week ago, when Mustard claimed he hadn’t been compensated for his extensive work on YG’s 2014 album My Krazy Life. The beef played out on Instagram, which is where YG squashed it on Thursday (Jan. 1).
The rapper posted a new Instagram shot of Mustard and himself posing in front of three cars, and the caption reads, “Me & bro @djmustard squabbled up and got it over wit. 2015 is the takeover 4realz Bless up Yall.”

On Monday (Dec. 29), YG re-posted an Instagram from Mustard in which the producer complained about his lack of payment. YG responded by posting a screen grab of his call log to Mustard about the incident, and the two agreed to meet in person after airing their dirty laundry.
DJ Mustard produced 11 tracks on the deluxe edition of YG’s critically acclaimed My Krazy Life, including the hits “My N—a” and “Who Do You Love,” as well as 2014 crossover smashes like Jeremih‘s “Don’t Tell ‘Em” and Tinashe‘s “2 On.” In turn, YG contributed to the track “No Reason” on Mustard’s 2014 solo album, 10 Summers.
