Hip-hop tag team YG and DJ Mustard are joining forces again for the upcoming mixtape 400 Summers. “400 SUMMERS MIXTAPE COMING ….. Wasn’t pose to give it away but fuck it [–] @YG,” tweeted DJ Mustard (Aug. 10).
The West Coast tandem and longtime friends collaborated for majority of YG’s 2014 Def Jam debut My Krazy Life, which debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The Compton rep recently scored another Top 10 release with his sophomore studio effort Still Brazy, which hit No. 6.

Exclusive: DJ Mustard Talks Making of ’10 Summers’ Album & Chart Success
In December 2014, the two had a public spat on Instagram when DJ Mustard claimed that he wasn’t paid for his contributions to My Krazy Life while YG clapped back, saying he didn’t receive compensation for working on Mustard’s 2014 album, 10 Summers.
Fortunately, the collaborators have since set aside their differences and are taking their talents back to the studio. YG added on his timeline, “400 SUMMERS TAPE KOMIN SOON ON BOMPTON.”
