Friday (Nov. 9) marks the 25th anniversary of Wu-Tang Clan’s rap opus Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers. In honor of the album’s 1993 release, Wu-Tang took center stage at ABC’s Good Morning America for a torrid rendition of “Protect Ya Neck.”
Famed members RZA, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and Method Man were all in attendance to perform the album standout. Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son, Young Dirty Bastard, also joined the group in tribute to his father.
Last month, Wu-Tang visited Jimmy Kimmel Live! and dished strong helpings of “Protect Ya Neck” and “C.R.E.A.M.” The revered group also recently released their new short film For the Children: 25 Years of Enter the Wu-Tang Clan (36 Chambers), which includes appearances by A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg and Joey Bada$$.
