Wiz Khalifa is one of music’s greenest superstars. An unabashed fan of Mary Jane, Khalifa has made the sticky icky part of his brand from having his very own strain of weed, dubbed Khalifa Kush, to marketing his own weed product line with Colorado company RiverRock. “Bake Sale,” a track from his sixth album Khalifa, throws away metaphors and allusions for an entire song that is unmistakably about getting super, duper high. Released this past January as a single, the smoky track peaked at No. 56 on the Hot 100 and features a hypnotic hook from Travis Scott.
“So High”

From Wiz’s 2013 album Blacc Hollywood, “So High” is the ultimate stoner anthem. Originally released as a single from Los Angeles-based Ghost Loft, Wiz reworked a version for his own album featuring production from powerhouse duo Stargate. (They also produced one of the biggest hits of Wiz’s career, “Black and Yellow.”) In “So High,” Khalifa makes his goals with weed clear, spitting, “Somewhere in the clouds, that’s where we wanna be.”

One of the bigger hits in Wiz’s discography is “Work Hard, Play Hard,” a platinum-certified anthem for success. From Khalifa’s 2012 album O.N.I.F.C., the track features production by superstar producer Benny Blanco and aforementioned collaborator, Stargate. While the song isn’t as on-the-nose about weed as some of the rapper’s tracks, Khalifa nonetheless shouts out Mary Jane when referencing his strong California strains.

Wiz loves the sticky icky so much, he named his third album Rolling Papers. Boasting the smashes “Black and Yellow” and “No Sleep,” Rolling Papers also features the speaker bumper “On My Level.” Featuring Too $hort, the hit song’s first few lines could double as Wiz’s daily to-do list. “Burn Slow” Feat. Rae Sremmurd

Teaming up with Rae Sremmurd, Wiz released yet another ode to weed in 2015 dubbed “Burn Slow” and produced by Mike Will Made-It. The song shouts out Wiz’s personal weed strain. When it comes to his weed business, Khalifa admitted earlier this year that having his own line was never something he imagined for himself. “It was never really a goal of mine to get into the business,” he told GQ Style. “It developed over the past two or three years and became much more serious. My goal was literally just to get a weed card.”
“Young, Wild and Free” Feat. Snoop Dogg & Bruno Mars

Khalifa teamed up with perhaps the only MC who loves weed more than him, Snoop Dogg, for this 2011 jam. Featuring a chorus from Bruno Mars, the song is the perfect ode for kicking back, relaxing, being young and care-free. Nominated for Best Rap Song at the 55th annual Grammy Awards, “Young, Wild and Free” served as the lead single from the soundtrack for Wiz and Snoop’s direct-to-DVD movie, Mac and Devin Go to High School (emphasis on the “high”).

Another standout from Rolling Papers, Wiz Khalifa doesn’t want to shake himself awake from flourishing in his rap career. “I came up in a big way and I hardly ever sleep well but it’s like a dream,” he spits. As long as the money’s long and the kush is strong, he’s all set.
