As we await for the debut of Rihanna‘s eighth studio album, the singer-songwriter has released her third new single “American Oxygen.”
Rihanna Is a Trap-Queen on ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’: Song Review
The anthem, premiered on Jay Z‘s streaming service Tidal, features Rihanna singing of the fight for the American dream. She debuted the track live at the March Madness Music Fest in Indianapolis on Saturday (April 4).
“American Oxygen” follows the trap-heavy track “Bitch Better Have My Money” and her folk-pop collaboration with Kanye West and Paul McCartney, “FourFiveSeconds.” Each of the three singles highlight a different side of Rihanna (from honest to confident), alluding to the sonic diversity on her forthcoming album if all songs make the cut.
