Lorde has added covers of Kanye West’s “Flashing Lights” and Bon Iver’s “Heavenly Father” to the setlist for her current U.S. tour.
“Flashing Lights” isn’t Lorde’s first attempt at a Kanye classic. The rapper’s “Hold My Liquor” has been a regular feature in the New Zealand star’s set over the past year.
Fans captured and uploaded footage of Lorde’s latest musical interpretations during her tour-opener at Philadelphia’s Mann Center. Read the Philadelphia setlist here and see video of her two new covers below.
When her U.S. dates with Majical Cloudz wrap Oct. 10 in San Diego, Lorde will return to her homeland for a run of headline shows in Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland. Lorde has said her all-ages homecoming shows will be her last for 2014, and her final performances in support of her award-winning debut album Pure Heroine. Earlier this year, she rescheduled her Australian touring itinerary on “doctor’s advice” due to a “really nasty chest infection” and “general ill health”.

Meanwhile, Kanye has toured Australia to warm reviews, though he’s had the odd awkward moment on stage and an unexpected trip to the hospital off it. The Yeezus tour of Australia concludes Monday night (Sept. 15) at the Brisbane Entertainment Center.
