In time for Black History Month, the R&B vet unleashed a new visual for “Chains” on Tuesday (Feb. 2). The black-and-white presentation — directed by Film The Future — finds the singer riding in the back of a cop car and eventually walking into his own funeral.
“‘Chains’ is my way of spreading light on the issues we face in our social injustice system,” Usher wrote on Twitter (Jan. 30). “As artists we have to use our platform to spread awareness and inspire action.”
