In an unlikely meeting between hip-hop and science, Tyler, the Creator is behind the theme song for Bill Nye the Science Guy’s new Netflix show Bill Nye Saves the World.
The opening credits, released in their entirety Monday (April 17), have the same high energy and fast-paced “Bill! Bill! Bill!” chant as the original Bill Nye the Science Guy theme.
In a short video posted to the show’s Twitter account on Saturday, which first featured the new tune, Nye and Tyler discuss the inspiration behind the song and Tyler’s relationship with Bill Nye’s show in his childhood.

“That show got kids to not hate science class and that full-on worked,” Tyler said, to which Nye humorously responded, “You like science, look at you now.”
