Trinidad James teams up with the Hipster Orchestra for the uplifting song “Graduated” from the Night School soundtrack, and it’s premiering below.
“Graduated” was created for the purpose of filling the end credits of the comedy starring Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish. Jingle Punks played an integral role in laying the track’s foundation, co-producing the song alongside Propane. James later became involved, adding his signature flavor to the groovy record.
“They put some soul and funk on the beat when I got it back. If nothing else, you can make people happy and put a smile on their face walking out [of] the theater,” James says. “There are not enough people doing good in the world. We are seeing headlines these days of everybody being so divisive. We’re hoping that a simple song with a simple message can be a quick and easy break from all of this and do what popular music is supposed to do: make you feel good and dance.”
