Travis Scott joined forces with luxury designer Saint Laurent to craft a limited-edition vinyl, which was sold at Parisian boutique Colette, in December. Cactus Jack even flew out to the Paris store to celebrate its release and sign vinyls for lucky fans in attendance. The 12 tracks were carefully curated to create a masterpiece of a playlist featuring music from Travis Scott himself, to Kanye West, Young Thug, Cardi B, Frank Ocean and others.
The vinyl’s cover art was precisely designed by Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello and the 500 available quickly sold out. On Friday (Jan. 5), Apple Music is giving fans the chance to experience La Flame and Vaccarello’s co-curation skills. The playlist is now featured exclusively on Vogue‘s channel with Apple Music.
Fashion and hip-hop continue to intersect once again and Scott isn’t one to be shy about his clothing choices. La Flame and Quavo even have a track off their Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho collaboration project titled “Saint Laurent Mask.” With tracks ranging from Cardi’s anthemic “Bodak Yellow” to Kanye’s harrowing “Pinnochio Story” making the cut, are you feeling Trav’s curation skills?
