Travis Scott originally joined forces with Yves Saint Laurent back in 2016, and now creative director Anthony Vaccarello has cooked up another campaign that the Astroworld rapper features in. On Wednesday (Oct. 31), the brand announced that Scott is slated to star in the brand’s upcoming spring/summer 2019 campaign.
The Houston native posted multiple photos to social media teasing his involvement with the luxury fashion house. One black-and-white clip sees the 26-year-old shining bright in his unreleased voguish threads, while Iggy Pop’s 1977 “The Passenger” interestingly blares in the background.
Over the winter, Scott collaborated with Saint Laurent on a pricey limited-edition vinyl, which ended up selling out quickly in December at the Parisian boutique Colette, since only 500 were made in total. The “Saint Laurent Mask” artist even flew out to sign some vinyl records for fans in attendance on release day, after Scott flexed his curation skills for the 12-track playlist crafted alongside the luxe designer.
