Reps for Travis Scott have promised an internal investigation into the wild scenes at the rapper’s concert on Sunday (April 30) which reportedly left one fan with a broken leg.
Footage shared from the Terminal 5 concert shows Scott addressed a fan hanging from a lower balcony railing. “Are you gonna do it?,” Scott told a fan before launching into a performance of “A-Team,” according to a Twitter clip. “I see you but are you gon’ do it? They gon’ catch you. Don’t be scared! Fall!” Later in the show, an unidentified man was injured after he dropped from the third-level balcony and was taken to hospital for treatment, a spokesperson for Scott confirmed.
“The safety of everyone is held in the highest regard and we are currently conducting an internal investigation to ensure that this does not happen again,” the spokesperson explains in a message issued to Billboard. “We are deeply concerned about the guest who was injured and intend to offer him our support.” The man’s condition was not revealed, though TMZ reported one jumper broke his leg.
The Missouri City rapper and his team have been in touch with the injured fan to stay up-to-date on his health, says Scott’s rep.
