Travis Scott is taking his rodeo to Beats 1. The Houston rapper announced in an interview with Zane Lowe that he will be hosting a new Apple Music radio show called .wav with special guest Sausage Party star Seth Rogen, who will sit in for the inaugural Aug. 12 episode.
“I was performing on Seth Meyers and he was a guest on the show, and he was like, ‘Yo man, I f–k with your music,'” recalled Scott, who also gifted Rogen with a Travis Scott action figure. “For my first show, I said I gotta have this dude rock with me.”
The “Pick Up The Phone” MC also recently took to Instagram to explain the delay in releasing his new album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, originally slated for an Aug. 5 release date. “AUGUST 5TH WE WAS SUPPOSE TO SET THIS OFF. BUT DO TO “TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES” WE HAD TO MOVE IT TO THE 12th,” he wrote in the caption, also announcing a special event to celebrate the occasion. “THAT BEING SAID KIDS WE EAT FRIDAY. JOIN ME AND CHASE B FOR A FREE EXPERIENCE SOMWHERE IN LA FOR THE START OF BIRD SZN. TUNE IN ON THE 12th. AND U SHALL BE GUIDED.”

Scott also said he plans to roll out a new video directed by Hype Williams for “90210,” which took four months to make and he added that Birds in The Trap will be a visual album. There is also a song with Scott and Kanye West alongside a feature Travis wasn’t ready to reveal yet.
“With albums like Rodeo, Days Before Rodeo and Owl Pharaoh, I was really tuned into wanting to get people to understand my conscious and who I was mentally and who I am mentally” he explained of Birds. “With this album, it still has that too but it’s more like I’m just going in on a song, like all big joints. I’m not really trying to have no sleepers.”
