The Internet isn’t feeling Tory Lanez‘s latest freestyle after the rapper/singer swiped Playboi Carti‘s “Magnolia” beat even though the song’s producer claims he wouldn’t send it.
The beatsmith, Pierre Bourne, took to Twitter and shared a screenshot of him blocking a request from Tory Lanez’s camp to use the “Magnolia” beat. Per the exchange, Bourne responded with “Can’t do it.”

The latest entry on Lanez’s Swave Sessions — which includes a remix of DJ Khaled, Beyoncé and Jay Z’s “Shining” record — instead employs a tweaked version of the “Magnolia” beat, which had Carti fans blasting the “Luv” artist as well as his Kanye West-inspired artwork.

In “Magnolia”-related news, dread-less Jaden Smith had a dance-off with designer Diane Von Furstenberg to the Playboi Carti tune at the Met Gala.
