Titus and Jay Pharoah just dropped “Wit Me,” a track to end your 2016 with a bang(er), and it’s premiering exclusively on Billboard.
“Wit Me” is straight heat from beginning to end, comprised of an upbeat instrumental paired with the two flame-spitters dropping bar after bar. In his cool flow, Titus delivers lines like “My girl a freak to me, yeah/ Like a broken TV to me, I had to hit it repeatedly/ I be like ‘whatever happened to nothing comes easily?’” and MC/comedian Jay Pharoah brings his intensity to the mic with lines like “I’m the man/ I’ll say that again/ Even Aloe Blacc told me to chill.”
Speaking about the Myles Williams-produced track, Titus tells Billboard, “This is one of my favorite records because of the energy behind it. To me it’s kind of like a squad anthem for people to get hype to, and that’s what the feeling kind of was with all three of us rocking to it in the studio.” He continues, “It’s exciting to let people hear what will be the first song with everyone’s involvement from Future Moguls. Shout out to Jay Pharoah and Myles William for crushing this one.”
The track comes after the release of Titus’ “Wrong Ones,” another jam to rock to.
