It looks as if a new era of The Weeknd is upon us. Following his return to Instagram and purchasing a pad in Beverly Hills, the Toronto native is teasing new music in a Mercedes-Benz ad, which released Monday evening (Nov. 25).
The commercial stars Abel to promote the luxury car brand’s new EQC model. The Weeknd calls out the haunting electronic track by name as “Blinding Lights,” which is something that could’ve fit into the Starboy era. The end of the ad also teases a full film dropping Friday (Nov. 29).
The Uncut Gems actor kicked off the week by hinting at new music that could be hitting streaming services as the clock strikes midnight on the East Coast Wednesday (Nov. 27). “The fall starts tomorrow night,” he wrote.
