Rihanna has entered the book world. The entertainment mogul announced plans for The Rihanna Book on Monday (Oct. 7); here’s everything we know.
It’s being billed as a visual autobiography. The tome contains over 1,000 photos documenting RiRi’s decorated career over 504 pages. The book will feature snapshots from “her childhood in Barbados to her worldwide tours, from quintessential fashion moments to private time with friends and family.”
“I am so excited to share this collection of incredible images,” Rihanna said in a statement. “I’m very grateful to the talented photographers and artists who contributed. We’ve been working on the book for over five years and I’m really happy to be able to finally share it with everybody.”
It weighs a lot. The book releases globally on Oct. 10 and weighs in at a robust 15 pounds.
It costs $175. The Rihanna Book is now available for pre-order at Rihanna’s website.
It’s getting its own shindig. There will also be a release party for The Rihanna Book hosted by RiRi and publisher Phaidon at the famed Guggenheim Museum in NYC this Friday (Oct. 11).
