Drake killed it as the host at this year’s ESPY Awards, which took place on Wednesday (July 16).
Some of the show’s highlights include Chris Brown joining Drake and Blake Griffin in one of the night’s funniest pre-taped skits, and then sarcastically calling himself “America’s sweetheart.” Drake, in all white linen, brought out Brian McKnight to perform one of three parody songs, “Side Pieces.” He was also left with a friend zone kiss of death by his crush, WNBA Tulsa Shock’s Skylar Diggins: a kiss on the forehead.
On this week’s 12th episode of The Juice podcast, ItsTheReal‘s Eric Rosenthal and Jeff Rosenthal join as co-hosts and Renaud Jean-Baptiste (MTV2) joins as a guest. We discuss Drake’s 2014 ESPYs hosting gig and run down Drake’s top 25 moments in sports.
Personally, I’m a huge fan of every bromance moment LeBron James and Drake have shared, which date back to the “So Far Gone” era.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Juice podcast episode if we didn’t embarrass one another and reveal guilty pleasures. In this case, ‘Naud takes a moment to talk about his love for VH1 reality show, “Love & Hip-Hop.”
