On the second episode of The Juice Podcast we get to know SZA a little better.
Top Dawg Entertainment’s songstress touches on a range of topics, such as her experience of recording and performing with Coldplay, pranks and studio sessions amongst Top Dawg Entertainment artists, including Kendrick Lamar, to surprising pre-show rituals.
Just a month after the release of “Z,” SZA’s already working on her next album, “A,” and will soon embark on an international tour.
MoRuf, this week’s rising artist whose got next, shares the recording process behind his “Shades.of.Moo” LP, which features SZA, upcoming projects with Melo-X and Saint Heron artist, Iman Omari, and sources of inspiration.
Reggie Ugwu, Billboard’s Indie Reporter, chimes in with his love for 2 Chainz’s “Crib In My Closet” off his “Freebase” mixtape and Usher’s latest single, “Good Kisser.”
While President of Top Dawg Entertainment, Punch, wasn’t on the mic, he’s included in the convo whether it be through chuckling about SZA’s pre-show rituals or nodding his head yes when I looked his way to see if Kendrick Lamar’s sophomore album is indeed coming out in September, as Top Dawg told Billboard in February.
