A week after releasing the powerful music video for his song, “Black,” The-Dream announces the release of his new EP, “Royalty: The Prequel.”
The singer-songwriter/producer premiered the album cover and track list on Instagram on July 6.
The 8-song EP looks to be the first release from The-Dream and longtime collaborator, Tricky Stewart’s co-label, Contra Paris.
“Welcome to the Designer and Culture Label… Contra-Paris,” The-Dream writes, continuing to say that Contra-Paris isn’t a “record label” but a “about culture and everything that surrounds music.”
“Royalty: The Prequel” will be available for download today (Monday, July 7) at 7pm EST via the Contra-Paris website.
The-Dream also took to Instagram to announce other big news: He got married! He and his wife tied the knot on Friday in San Francisco, according to Rap-Up.
He posted a photo of his lovely wife, whose name he didn’t reveal, on July 4 with a heartfelt caption: “THE MRS. I LOVE YOU with my Whole Entire Heart and Spirit, God has blessed me in a Time where any man would feel overcome! God has restored my Heart!”
